PARADISE

EXHIBITION 7.1 – 1.2.2025,  TORNIO (FINLAND)

Welcome to my paradise!

This exhibition is coming from my heart. I love our nature here in Lapland, Finland. I love our snowy winters and polar nights. Are we gonna have like this in the future? Maybe not.

When I think about what my paradise would be, a snow-covered landscape in the middle of the polar night comes to mind. I realized that I have already been in paradise, in Lapland (Finland).

For some, the polar night is a time of darkness. For me, it’s an explosion of incredible colors, and that deep blue of the polar night is something I can never get enough of—constantly shifting shades, minute by minute. It’s also the peace of nature, the silence, the cold, the snow, and the ice.  In nature, I never feel lonely. In winter, the feeling that nature is resting, that stillness, makes me pause and breathe.
